PROMPTERGO is the overseas brand of a Beijing manufacturer that has designed and built professional teleprompters for broadcast, speech, stage and live events since 1995.
Computer-display teleprompter.
Spent on prompting technology.
Across national, provincial and municipal broadcasters.
Developed in-house.
Prompting is trusted work. Before any spec sheet, consider where our systems already run — on the news desks of national broadcasters, and in the media centres of heads-of-state summits.
China's national broadcaster.
Hong Kong's public service broadcaster.
The broadcaster for China's capital.
Zambia's national broadcaster.
Hong Kong's Chinese-language news network, carried in over 190 countries.
Guinea's national broadcaster.
Press centres shared by broadcasters from dozens of countries.
Armenia's national public broadcaster. Its first new studio since independence in 1991.
Chen Li runs the company and still does the design work himself, because the part he likes is the problem. When a customer arrives with a job that has no product yet, he takes it as something to be worked out. The PTZ-synced prompter, the one-case portable and the stage-floor systems all started that way.
Getting from there to a finished product takes a long time, and what holds a design up is usually something small. Whether a mount stays steady with a heavy lens on it as the angle changes. Whether the software behaves safely when something goes wrong. Whether a control sits where the hand reaches for it without having to look. He decides when those questions are settled, and the product ships after that.
A live event gives one chance to get it right. We design each system for the hardest day it will face, and we choose materials that will still be doing their job years later.
The optics, the mechanics and the prompting software are designed by our own engineers and assembled in our own facility. The patents and the software copyrights are in our own name.
Key parts can be replaced on site, and the spare parts come from the same production line that built the system. When a problem or a request is too unusual for normal support, it goes to the engineers who designed the product, and we can build a solution for that one customer.
Tell us about your production and our team will help you specify the right PROMPTERGO system.
